TikTok Business Center and agency accounts

A TikTok Business Center (BC) is TikTok's tool for managing a business's ad accounts, people and assets, and TikTok's documentation says you find its ID by selecting your profile icon in Business Center and clicking ID. AdsPatch asks for that BC ID when you order a TikTok agency ad account, then shares the account into your Business Center, so your team builds and runs campaigns there while the account itself is opened outside your structure.

What is a TikTok Business Center?

Business Center is where a company on TikTok keeps its ad accounts, its members and assets such as pixels and TikTok accounts, with a role for each person. TikTok's documentation says only a Business Center admin can share accounts and assets, and that an ad account is shared at a permission level: Admin, Operator or Analyst. An Operator can create and edit ads but cannot change account settings; an Analyst can only view.

Where do you find your Business Center ID?

  • In Business Center, select your profile icon and click ID. TikTok's documentation adds that the ID also appears in the page URL.
  • It is digits only. The AdsPatch order form takes it in the Business Manager ID field and refuses anything else, so a typo is caught before the order goes out.
  • It is not your ad account ID. That one is found in Ads Manager by clicking the account name.

What can you do on a shared TikTok agency account?

  • You can build campaigns, ad groups and ads, read reports, and work alongside your own accounts in the same Business Center.
  • You cannot add a card: the account is funded by top-ups from your AdsPatch balance, and it has no spending limit beyond the budget you put on it.
  • You cannot change its timezone, currency or region. TikTok fixes them at creation, which is why the order form asks for the timezone up front.

Can the account move to another Business Center?

Yes. From the dashboard you can ask for an account to be added to a Business Center, removed from one, or moved to another. Because the account is opened outside your Business Center, losing access to yours does not close it. That protects the account from your structure, not from enforcement over its own ads.

When AdsPatch is not the answer

If all you need is to give an agency or a freelancer access to your own TikTok ad account, you do not need us. TikTok's Business Center lets an admin share your account with their Business Center directly, at the permission level you choose, at no cost. An agency account is for when the account itself, its funding or its replacement is the problem.

If one of the cases above is yours and an agency account is the right answer, we provide accounts on nine platforms from one balance: the first is live within 1 hour of a confirmed deposit, a banned one is replaced within 30 minutes, and every deposit gets an EU invoice. Our team has worked in this industry since 2019.
