Your TikTok ad account was suspended

TikTok suspends ad accounts mainly for creative and landing page policy, for business verification gaps, and for payment problems, and its appeals are usually decided faster than Meta or Google. The practical difference on TikTok is that enforcement tracks the creative unusually closely, so an account suspended over one ad often returns once that ad is gone, while an account suspended over the underlying offer does not.

How TikTok differs from Meta and Google

TikTok reviews creative harder and faster, and it applies its rules to the whole ad experience, including the landing page and the way the offer is described in the video. An ad that would pass on Meta can fail here on tone alone, particularly in health, finance and anything making a before-and-after claim.

The upside is that TikTok enforcement is often narrower. Where Meta and Google frequently escalate to the business or the person, TikTok more often stops at the account and sometimes at the individual ad.

The common suspension reasons

  • Creative policy: unsupported claims, prohibited content, or a hook that misrepresents what the user gets. This is the largest category by a distance.
  • Landing page mismatch: the page does not deliver what the ad promised, or it is thin enough that TikTok cannot tell what the business is.
  • Business verification incomplete: a process gap, and resolved by completing verification.
  • Payment issues: the same shape as everywhere else, and resolved the same way.
  • Industry restrictions by market: a category permitted in one country and not another, which surprises teams running multi-market campaigns from one account.

Appealing effectively

Remove or fix the offending creative before appealing rather than after. An appeal submitted while the ad is still live and still in violation is refused, and on TikTok that refusal comes quickly.

Where the suspension names a specific ad, say what you changed about that ad. Where it names the landing page, say what you changed on the page and when it went live, so the reviewer can check.

Why TikTok teams run more accounts

Because creative turns over fast and enforcement tracks creative, TikTok media buyers usually run more accounts in parallel than they would on Meta, and expect to lose some of them. That is a structural feature of the platform rather than a sign anybody did anything wrong.

It is also the case where funding several accounts from one balance is most obviously useful, because the alternative is a card per account and a reconciliation problem at the end of every month.

When AdsPatch is not the answer

If your account was suspended over one piece of creative and the rest of the account is clean, fix the creative and appeal. You will very likely be running again within a day, on the account you already have, at no cost. Buying an agency account to escape a single rejected ad is an expensive way to solve a free problem.

If one of the cases above is yours and an agency account is the right answer, we run accounts on nine platforms from one balance, with a ledger behind every movement and an EU invoice for every deposit.
